A little about us…..We’re a team of 2 creative individuals - Euan & Joneene have been co-workers at Da Vinci Art for 15+ years, both having studies in art & share a passion for framing our clients artworks.
Joneene has 25 years industry experience in Brisbane, business owner since 2012 .
Euan is a trade qualified framer & artist.

We don’t just do sports - treasured wearables like school blazers, silk scarves, medals, pendants etc. .. all sorts of collections can be displayed beautifully designed in a custom made recessed frame.

Frame with Aussie timber
Australian raw hardwood timbers known as Tasmanian Oak & Victorian Ash are on trend, suiting modern design styles, are available in several moulding profiles including float frames.
It’s sustainable native timber ethically grown & milled in Australia - known for the soft organic tones of sand, pink, grey.
Each length of moulding is solid timber with individual & unique grains & patterns.
Glass replacement options
Replacing broken glass in frames is a regular request, bring in your frame & we can cut to size & refit the artwork ready to hang again.

~ Ultra Vue or AR (anti reflective) is another option, it’s an amazing clear glass 78%UV protection offering minimal glare & enhances colours.

These cute little modern master artcards -Norman Lindsay, Picasso, Brett Whitely, Klimt, Dali are some of our favourites - we have lovingly custom made and finished to a high standard. Our design techniques & use of mats, boxing, fillets etc. showcased. Lux ornate frames & ultra vue glass also feature on some works in this collection.

Not many frames can be bought off the shelf in the size you need, & of quality materials.
All our frames are TIMBER, no plastic or fibreboard frames here!

Custom framing techniques like floating, boxing, recess lining can take a simple idea to next level - we relish being creative with our materials, let us show you what we can do!
Here we have made a feature of the Bromley’s deckled paper, float mounting on a silver mat recessed from a black core top mat & finished with Ultra Vue glass.

- first stage we make a pine stretcher frame to size & wrap/stretch.
- ready to a hang as is or you may prefer to finish with a custom frame to suit.
Float frames are popular in timber tones but also in black, white & metallics.
Pictured are float frames in Australian raw timber available in depths to suit 20, 30 & 40mm stretched canvas.
Our Pre-made Empties
We keep a selection of empty matted frames priced from $45 - $150 (made by us, no mass production basic black or white stock here!)
A budget alternative to custom ordering ideal for photos, drawings, paper art @ sizes 4x6” 5x7” 6x8” & 8x10”.
